I have a 427 bbc with balanced forged crank scat rods & forged wiseco 9.5 pistons.Will 110 cc e-street heads work with a SLRcam 532-522 lift & 282-292 duration.The valves are .219-.188.Will I have enough compression?.........Gus

Thanks for the comeback guys.I have a little more info- the dome volume is 21 cc The pistons are wiseco #5046H6 .The deck has been milled to clean it up, But i'm not sure of the height. The cam is a SLR grind#300DP Hyd-110" The specs are Lift 532. 522 , duration 282,292 intake open 35 exh 80 . close intake 67 exhaust 32. On the next page it shows exh [email protected] BBDC intake [email protected] BTDC. Exh [email protected] ATDC. Intake closes @ 40 ABDC . Sounds good, The cam is a Steve Long Racing Cam . Don't know of a web site, but it's out of california. Any idea what kind of power it'll make ? I'm using a Weiand Hi-ram w/ two 600 eddies .Thanks again.............Gus

I've got two 660 centre squirters w/50cc pumps & 35 cc extended squirters I could use. Also have another cam ,a Comp extreme marine part # 11-236-4 Grind #CBXM 270H-12, it's already in this motor. Here is the specs as on the sheet. Gross valve lift int..544,exh.547 [email protected] tappet lift int.270,exh.286 valve [email protected] int. [email protected] BTDC [email protected] ABDC [email protected] BBDC [email protected] ATDC. At 110.0 int. centerline. [email protected] int.226 exh.236. Lobe lift int..3200 exh..3220 . Lobe separation 112. Should I leave this one in or the other one for now . If I go the solid route what would you suggest ? Thanks for all the info.......Gus

I'll be running it in a '23 T bucket-2-spd Powerglide ,narrowed 9", 355s,Eaton locker, wide mickeys on the back. Iwas running it in a V-drive boat,hence marine cam. The bucket has a 454,but I thnk the 427 will be better,it only has about 10 hrs since the overhaul.I had just put the aluminum heads on the 454 & cam etc ,but the rotating assembly is stock.

yeah it's a lot of fun,I forgot to mention it has a billet 3000 stall & transbrake,just had the tranny done supposed to be good for 750 hp..Car weighs 2200 lbs.Maybe I'll leave the Comp. in I'll have both motors on the engine stands,so either way it's not a lot of work.Thanks again for all the info-appreciate it..............Gus

that small cam and heads should put you in the 500 hp range. Dont use 660 center squirters on the street.Do you have any actual flow numbers for the heads? I would use a 750 double pumper.The car could run 11s.If you use 2 600 carbs and progressive linkage It should get reasonable mileage compared to the holley 750X and still be close to the same speed in the 1/4 if you ever explore that?It should at least run low 12s

Yeah ' I was running the 660's on the street -had it running good,made more than the eddies ,but one of the throttle shafts wanted to leak,so I went to the endurashine-looks better with the open car.I've been running both carbs at once on the 454 & it went good .Better on gas than the 660's. Might try the strip sometime,too easy to get reported street racing.Hope you're right about the HP thanks..................Gus No, I don't have any flow numbers,they're just E-street heads the way they came

So,they have the potential for over 500 hp if the numbers are correct.I believe 500 ish to be close. I guess you use the 2 carbs for show?

Yeah, THe Hi-ram & endurashine carbs with K&N velocity stacks.I know there's better ways to make power ,But it's a fun ride anyway
