[59 wagon man]

hi i have a 350 chevy in my 59 wagon with an edelbrock carb and intake . afew weeks ago after a trip there seemed to be a whistling coming from the engine.sign of a vacuam leak i thought .you can hear it but i can't seem to find it. what i do find is on the choke housing there is a small hole which is def. leaking vac. as you can feel it with your finger. covering the choke housing seems to cause a change in idle.this carb is only a few months old and i was just wondering if any had any similar problems? thanks

I'd call Edelbrock direct.

Wagon man, this hole provides cooling air for electric choke. Don't plug it up. This info came from Edelbrock when I called them with the same concern.
