If your car has a stock fuse panel, it should have a spade terminal on it marked 'IGN'. I would crimp the appropriate connector on the orange wire and plug it in there.

im wiring a spal fan in my 65 el camino which ignition wire do i splice the orange wire from the controller to, the instructions say orange wire to ignition help, thanks
