question is mechanical replacement pump or switch to electric with regulator.
I have an electric fuel pump installed in my car and run a mechanical one for daily driving. The electric fuel pump only gets turned on at the drag strip or to prime the fuel lines when the car's been sitting for a long time.
What kind of use do you expect out of your car? I would still run a mechanical fuel pump since I've personally seen electric fuel pumps fail. Holleys like around 5-6 pounds of fuel pressure so I would run a regulator anyway.
