Electric power steering pump/Mustang II Power rack

I have a 1978 Mustang II power rack on my '36 chevy 4d sedan and would like to use a Volvo/ Ford Electric Power Steering pump. Any body on here ever looked into this? The pump is from a Volvo 2005-2013 s40 . 12v and need high pressure and low pressure hoses attched to the rack just like any other belt driven pump but it mounts anywhere under the hood and has a bottle on top full of steering fluid. No pullies, brackets just 12 volt. Im wondering if it can keep up with the P/S rack or will it not work. ie: chevy motor mounted pump will pump to much unless you use a pressure reducer to reduce the action from the ford rack. Any body tried this ? Thanx for your help!
