Hi Guys, Saw an ad in a streetrod magazine for a trunk opener, about 6 months ago, that looked like a power window regulator and motor that had 1 arm attached to it with a rod to open trunk or rumble seat but can't find the ad now. Don't want to use the one with the long bar and gear assy. This one was real compact.Any feedback who makes it??? Ray

Dont know which one you saw, but I have seen about every different kind of power trunk lift on the market. The one that by far out shines the rest is from Downs manufacturing. Their lifts do not need the hideous slot in the trunk panel, and the arms are all billet aluminum.
