Is there such a thing as an engine compartment liner? I'm redoing a 1987 Ford Mustang (Florida Hwy Patrol Car)and there are zillions of holes that are not needed. Before we paint, I would like to drop in a liner if there is such a thing? There are too many holes to fill and the body shop didn't recommend it since the metal can flex and the fill can possibly pop out or crack. If such a thing exists, any ideas where to find a liner?

Thanks, Mike <img src="graemlins/crash.gif" border="0" alt="[crash]" />

Mike, theres no such thing as an engine compartmen liner to my knowledge. The only thing i can recomend is to weld some sheetmetal over the places you speak of. I'm not sure what kind of holes you mean, but I'm sure it can't be to big of a problem to fix. Let me know a bit more about it and I'll do what i can to help you.
