What is the consensus on the preferred radiator type for a classic Chevy with a 350/330 small block, aluminum or brass? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

how classic and how visible whats the application
aluminum dissipates heat faster than brass. more fins works more efficiently than more tubes w/standard fin config hope this helps some

My 350 Chevy has a 3 row copper, and I just had it redone. I was shocked at just how much a "good" radiator guy knows. He knows how much flow your motor needs based on what was done to it, he knows the heat dissipation of different fin configurations, and he knows the difference between aluminum and copper. If you find the right guy, he can point you in the right direction. HotRod
