hey guys sam here my engine recently started making a hell of a screeching noise from inside at first i thought it was my waterpump but i pulled the belt off then ran it and it was still doing it my oil seems to have a lot of metal filings in it and they are magnetic it is a chevy 350 anyone ever had this problem?

Sounds like something internally has let go. A lot of metal shavings is not good. You may want to pull it apart and find out what`s happened.

Yep i agree sounds like its time to tear it apart and see what is going on. It dont sound good. Probably some bearings let go on you. :smash: ain: Cole
