hi, i have a 1979 Chevy Camaro Z28. I bought it a couple of days ago for 700. Someone put a rebult stright 6 in it and i cant decied what to do. Do i leave the 6 in there becase of rising gas prices, do i put a 305 i have sitting in a 1984 camaro in it, or do i save up some money and buy a 350?

if I'm going to rip out a motor and fab for a six to an 8 swap you can be sure I'm not going to stick a 305 in the thing! Especially if I have to rip the thing out of another car and make IT useless!!

Easy click on that one.

A straight 6 in a Z/28? Never heard of such a thing....why would someone downgrade a 'sports' car like that?! Are you sure it isn't just a Camaro?
I say go with a big block:thumbup:
Camaros are just like bellybuttons...Might as well build it to be somewhat different. Especially since you are going to have to fab up some motor mounts to switch from the 6 to the 8.
