I Have A 94 Jeep Cherokee That Will Just Quit Going Down The Road ,and Will Sometimes Start Back Up On Its Own And Sometimes You Have To Pull Over And Wait Awhile To Get It Started. Does Anyone Have A Clue What Could Cause This.

Thanks.

I would look at the crank position sensor, I can assume that its a 4.0l engine,

The CPS is located at the back of the engine block, right where the trans bell house bolts to the block, located center to the drivers side a little on the bell housing, it sticks down and reads the sensor ring on the flex plate, very common failure rate on this part.
