I drive a 46 chevy with a 301 pontiac motor.
I want more chrome on it, can I use chevy's 305 to 350 valve covers from the checker autoparts shop, or should I be looking elsewhere?
I dont want to swap out the 301 for a 350 just yet, I rebuilt it twice now and have more than 700,000 miles on it and still get 80lbs of compression or better from all the cylanders. the ol'grey mare is still what she used to be!!
thank you, timstoys38  null

I just looked in my Summit catalogue, and they have Edelbrock valve covers in polished aluminum or chrome plated steel. Also try Ames Performance Engineering(www.amesperf.com). They specialize in Pontiac parts. You might also look through the vender links at www.poci.org
