After about 3 months, me, my cousin, and my dad, starting assembling my machined 355. In one day, we got the crank in, cam, pistons, Lifters, and the heads on. We still have a long way to go, but i took pics, very detailed too, b/c this is my first build, so i wanna know whats happening. I took close note to putting the bearings in and measuring that, and the piston rings. I cant wait to do one by myself, but i have a long way to go before then. My next motor is prolly gonna be a big block for a Rat Rod i have planned. hehe

Be sure to ask just enough questions to make your dad and cousin tell you to shut up. Look at everything and ask all the hows and whys.

Most importantly, have fun with it. You won't believe how big your smile will be when you hear it fire up the first time.
