My replacement engine is 1980 chevy SB 350, int balance, but came without flexplate. How do I know if I want 168 or 153 tooth flexplate? Both have dual pattern for PG or turbo 350 and both are int balance.

Which starter do you have? The straight pattern starter uses the 12 inch 153 tooth flywheel. The staggard pattern uses the 14 inch 168 tooth flywheel.
If you don`t have either I would use the staggard pattern starter and 168 tooth flywheel.

My block has a dual pattern starter mount. I need to get a starter and flexplate.
