I have a 67 mustang convertible that has some
floor pan rust the drivers side..Convert came
with 2 floorpans..the hole is about the size
of 2 fists..the rust is not through the
passenger compartment floorpan..anyone have an
idea on the method of repair for this and maybe
ballpark on the cost..

If you have or know a friend who has a welder, probably a 12 pack of brew. Replacing and or patching floorpans is pretty simple job. Just cut out the old pans and weld in the new ones. Or if you want to patch them just cut out the rusted area and cut a patch panel from sheetmetal and weld it it. ?You could either butt weld or overlap if your not to crazy or not skilled enough to butt weld. In a shop I'm not sure of the cost, but call a local shop for an estimant if you don't want to or can't do it yourself. If you would like more information on doing it yourself feel free to e-mail or pm me and I will be happy to give it to you.
