Been onboard for a month or two reading and learning. After many years of designing and building Class 8 Trucks and even aircraft. I now get to use the handsy feetsy tools of my trade. More rewarding and just plain fun than I ever thought it would be. Also a hell of a lot more frustrating than I expected. Nothing is as easy as it first appears, parts don't always fit, some vendors actually do not present all the particulars. Go figure !
That being said I am completing a 1966 Chevy, C10 Longbed, it was someone else's project and I am starting over from scratch. I decided to do all of the work myself in my garage (2 Stalls) I'm sure the thousands of you who have done the same thing are now conjuring up a lot of memories, good and bad. And I agree with all of you. All I've got is time, and so far it's still not taxed. I'll start posting pics in a day or two.
