Did Ford ever put bench seats in a Mustang ? I have never seen one with it but.........

Wow Thanks for the info. :thumbup: I'm over 50 and I have never seen a bench seat in a Mustang. Never to old to learn..

A freind had an Arizona 66 Mustang coupe, with a bench and factory air. Also saw one 70-72 Camaro with a bench seat with auto on the column.

first gen Mustangs are a Falcon unibody, it's a falcon seat and was an option. it was a no engineering cost "free-bee" to add to the options list

take the pad off a Mustang dash, it's a Falcon dash

and yuch, they cut and spliced the Falcon wiring harness to make it work

? 80%+ of Falcon parts bolt into a first gen Mustang, goal was keep it cheaper to build/cheaper price

and the s##tbox comment ticked the engineers off so they built the Comet Cyclones (same as Falcons and Mustangs) and went and won the Dakar Rally across Africa, the toughest in the world.......
Only American car that has ever won it......
