I am going to rebuild my 351W from my '86 E-350 4X4 Van. Should I "blueprint" the engine? Should I modify any components for better performance for my massive 4X4? What are the best resources to use for this job? I'm looking for documentation, step by step guides, and some solid recommendations for this project (my first project).

As far as blueprinting, that's not necessary but balancing it is.
