I have a little end play in and out but im curious how much i should actually have without any problems? Anyone know? I would appreciate it.

A little more info would be very helpful......end play out of what?

Jacked up rear axle and checking the wheel bearing holding the tire push in and pull out there is about an 1/8" or less play

I think it is okay and no problems should occur just want opinion im not completely sure on how much movement there should be

If this was a c clip rear end then that would be all right, but the Ford 9 inch does not have c clip axles. Any in and out movement means that you probably have a bad bearing and it needs to be fixed right away. You need to check in to this some more and find out where the play is coming from.

Thanks i should probably just change the bearings right? I leave hunting in one week. Dont want anything to go wrong appreciate your help

9 in. Fords do not have clips. The axle/bearing is retained by the axle end plate and usually has little to no measureable end play.
