Without looking it up i am pretty sure you have a 71 model 460 engine. Google big block ford casting numbers you should fine all kinds of stuff. Cole

The D1VE decodes as a 71 460 out of a lincon but,D1VE could be a 429 or 460 since the both take the same block. The only way
to tell that i know of is if it's a 429 or a 460 is to look at the casting code on the crank 429 uses 4UX cast code 460 uses a 2YX cast code. Just trying to help. Cole
