I just helped my friend install one of these in his 69 Torino w/ a 351. Any how we looked on the net for any info before the install and Mustang monthly said to not use the vacuum advance so we didnt . We didnt get to drive the car yesterday because it was raining but it started right up and ran good in the garage. What do you guys think should I hook up the advance for him or just leave it give a little more initial timing and let it go. And also the grommet they give you seems to interfere withthe advance plate. Has any one else used one of these on a Ford and had this problem ?
