After reading the below post I decided to give you more info.
1. Placing a body on a different make frame is not recommended by street rod mazs, thus it might lower the value of the vehicle.(are they rite or trying to accomadate their advertizers?)They used to have acricles on these swaps.
2.Beside the above there is a growing trend to use the S-10 frames on rods. Its just plain cheaper & works in a lot of applications.
3. The S-10 frame is made to accomadate different wheelbases by the factory. The front of frame slips into the rear of the frame thus, by cutting the weld on both frame rails thr wheelbase can be changed.........Don
