I just did a 58 Chevy with a Nova,, It work's out great.. If you have the skill's to pull it off... I don't know your skill level,, so please don't take that the wrong way.. :)
I did several last year.. ;)

no welding

I have done a ground up restore on a 66 GTO years ago, and put a 400 chevy motor in it. No major work like I'm planning on this truck. By the way will post pic's on what I got for $400.

Restoring and chopping one up,, is two different things... Even more when doing Mods to a chassis.. But not impossible.. Good luck.. and we will help any way we can.. Post some pictures.. ;)
