In a 30 Ford coupe I'm putting the gas tank in the trunk. The fill ( 2" ) will be through the 1/4 panel. About 7" from cap to tank; will I need an anti belch tube for filling or will it fill fine without one. Thanks Bob

Bob I was never a fan of gas tanks in the trunk but I also understand how quick you can run out of room in a '30 coupe. Because of the short run from cap to tank you shouldn't have a problem with backup and slosh. Two things I would do is use a non-vented cap and run a vent outside the trunk with a roll over valve.
