Do you mean the intake base for a tuned port injection system? this is the only intake I find that comes with those numbers. These intakes came on camaro Z28`s and firebird trans ams from the mid 80`s to the early 90`s, I have a almost complete TPI system that I never used, It`s complete other than the throttle body, it was ripped off from the body shop the car was bought from. If this is the intake your looking for let me know and I`d be happy to sell it to you.
I'm wanting to change my 1982 big blazer 350ci, 700r 12 bolt intake to a fuel injected. I was looking at one on ebay with a stand alone computer. I not well versed on fuel inject. but I do like my 98 Explorer and 99 blazer which are fuel injected. I want what ever I need to convert my carb. over, that works well and is of little trouble as possible. If you have what I'd need, I diff. interested. Thanks Lanier
There are several GM fuel injection systems, TBI or throttle body injection being the most common and likely the easiest. Converting to TBI would be alot less hassle than a TPI, There aren`t as many wires to worry about or system tuning. TBI was installed on millions of GM vehicles, it`s said to be the worst of injection, but it`s still worlds better than any carb will ever be.
My 92 chevy pickup with 270,000 miles has TBI and it still ran good up until the recent tear down. TBI will give a stocker 350 more low end power, while it`s not great on top end, if your not looking for a hot rod, TBI is the way to go. TPI isn`t much better on top end, but it has explosive low end response, tuned port injection is more sensitive, but also more costly and complicated. You can likely find a complete TBI system on ebay for your small block chevy at a good price.
