This is my first post: I have read through some post on J-B weld and I have a question. I am a novice not a hot-rodder but I needed help:
I have a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country van: Wife drives it mostly but today I drove and and smelled gas. Tracked down the smell and it is leaking at the fuel rail where their is a fitting to a u-turn in pipe to back injectors. Manual says the fuel rail in all one piece and so does dealer. Part only availible at dealer $180 yikes !!!
Could i put some J-B WELD putty on there and take care of this. If so do I need to make sure it is clean of all fuel before applying? Because it is still leaking fuel because of the pressure.
Thanks for any advice.
