If you run your own fuel lines what do you use? Most hotrods are built beyond the 5/16-3/8" metal prebent lines that are remade very well in SS. Not a racer but always keep the rubber line joining parts inches at best. My builds have used long oversized prebent SS lines from tank to pump. The melling mechanical 110gph pump is -6 an a small rubber link is a joint between the tank sender and tank line , then tank line and pump inlet. After the inlet it is -6 AN braided lines that are rubber insides. Braided all the way to the the carb no rubber there. Never had leaks. Are braided compareable to SS tubing?
What are is the longevity of that system. The SS tube I anticipate no problem. The Braided rubber center line has me guess?ng?
One system has been in place sealed no leaks for 12 years.
