Foose made it up just for that Stang...probably won't give out the info but you could ask them for it...dosn't hurt to ask and nothing to loose! I don't get the giant wheels and rubber band tires...looks stupid and rides like a solid rubber wheel and tire setup. I wonder if they would like to redo my 37 Dodge business coupe...just who do you have to know??
Not sure if Foose made it up because it looks very close to the one that was on the 63 Vette that they did earlier. I have my doubts about these "Foose" designs. Look at those rims that they say are Foose exclusives. Those look an awful lot like the Edelbrock wheels "429". All he did was put his logo on them and have MHT put them on the CNC machine. I will have to review my tape of that show to see who painted that car.
I'm pretty sure Foose is an old hand at custom-mixing his own paints, and in other episodes of the show they have him on film doing it. A friend of mine, who is a partner in Rumble Customs, has met Chip Foose on several occassions and she swears he is every bit as genuine as he appears to be on Overhaulin'. I can't imagine designing a five-spoke wheel that wouldn't look something like another wheel that's already been done before. Should everyone stop doing variations on the design, or should they keep tweaking it?
well I think he is a genuine guy but all I was saying is that most of the custom Foose wheels seem to look like other wheels with a Foose name on them. Nothing wrong with it. Could any good painter mix me this color? Or something very similar.
