Besides the usual helper stuff, there are a few more things to do.
If this is a sectional door, make sure that you balance your torsional bar above the door. You want an equal balance of up and down, whereas in the manual mode it was 70 to 75% up only.
Where you install the J bracket to the door, cut a piece of 3/4 plywood out approx. 12 X 16 and bolt this on the door with carriage bolts and then install the J bracket with longer screws through the entire door thickness. This will spread the push and pull over a larger area of the door and will eliminate screw pullouts and kinking in metal doors.
The last thing is, remove the emergency release cord that dangles down. It is very easy for someone to hook this cord with a coat hanger and open your door.
