Ok, i'm going to be driving the car to get stored this winter, instead of getting it towed like i have the past times, however i've never driven the car other than in and out of the garage, so i have NO idea what kind of milage i'd get, and i would perfer to have little to no gas in the tank for storage, so kinda wondering about how much gas i'd need.

The car will be driven 45 miles away, and the car is a ford torino.

And here is the engine combo
351W with c6 transmission
edelbrock rpm air gap intake
1" 4 hole carb spacer
holley 670 cfm vac sec carb
stock heads and cam, 1.7 Magnum roller rockers

i was thinking around 14mpg, but really have no clue, sound about right?

gas mileage?

A lot of variables there friend. Like rear end gearing tire size, stall of the converter, how well its tuned, whether you drive with your toes being tickled by the fan blades, or with an egg under the throttle. And last but not least, what body model and year is it?

gas mileage

How far do you have to drive it? If its less than 20 miles, one gallon should get you there. You might also consider just putting in a couple gallons and carry a couple jerry cans with you.
