I am currently looking to buy either a 383 Chevy Stroker 440hp from a US builder, or a Holden Gen 3 LS1 with carburetor & relocated Coil pack because EFI is not permitted in the events I drive in. Can anybody put me in touch with someone who knows a LOT about the Gen 3 conversion and cost thereof and whether it is worthwhile doing, compared to the 383?

Edelbrock makes a kit. You just need a carb, intake, and electronic box to control the ignition.
