Hi I recently picked up Meguires Swirl mark remover, Show-car glaze, and number 11 Mirror glaze.

I was wanting to use all 3 of these products to finish my cars paint-job but have a few questions.

When you put on the glaze I notice it is like a oil. After I buff the panel using the glaze should I get a cloth and whipe the glaze off of the panel until I see no glaze on?

Or should I leave a little on?

I noticed the swirl mark remover and show car glaze has a color to it but the mirror glaze doesn't.

Will leaving a little but of the clear mirror glaze on the car hurt anything?

I was also wanting to wax my car for the first time but was woundering if it will be ok to wax my car right after I glaze?

I bought some Meguires Gold class clear coat safe wax and was wanting to try it.

Just curious
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris- I'd clean after each product- I personally like to have none of the product left as I start a new one- sometimes even compatible products leave a residue or film that is hard to clean up after the next is applied. If you do a test and all is fine, I guess I'm overkill, but that is my method! As for waxing, consult the spec sheet and some can be waxed right after the glazing- others need a solvent escape period of several days to sometimes a month. On using the Meguiar's Gold Class I noticed a slight film on my dark paint- I prefer their Cleaner Wax as it seems to leave less behind, as does their new NXTGeneration wax in the purple/green bottle. Again, just my preferences as you will want to use what works best on your finish!!Hope this helps!
