I have a 1988 Chevy 700r4 trans pulled from a truck that I have installed in my project hotrod. I had a TH350 with a mechanical speedometer before. I would like to reuse my mechanical speedometer. Is there a way to change the speedometer fitting on the trans from electrical tp mechanical?

Question: If I make the conversion to a mechanical drive speedo, do I loose the ability to use the lock-up?

Lock up is controlled by other means than the speedo output. Usually hooked up to a switch or a stand alone conversion. Streetrod people have the kits.
