If you have good batteries in your remote you may have a problem with the transmitter. We used to replace them for intermittent problems such as losing program signal and would have to reprogram the remotes ever so often. You could check and make sure your controller does not have loose or corroded connections. The cutlass had the transmitter located behind the rear seat back bolted under the package tray. Your ground for reprogramming the remotes is a single wire located next to the power antenna (if equipped). Ground the signal wire and run the lock cycle twice.
