Good day, I put my original post in the wrong form. I hope you don't mind this 2nd posting.

Iv'e searched through the various archives offered on this site, but have not come up with an answer. Would anybody happen to know if their are any steel GM single groove pulleys that will fit the type 2 power steering pump? Thanks.

scroll down a little and you'll see one on this page. The Sweet pump is an aftermarket racing version of the type 2 pump.

S10Fan, thanks for the reply. I've found a few billet pulleys out there, but was hoping for a steel one. I can't find any info on the ideal RPM for a power steering pump, but I think the pulley you linked to may slow the pump down to much for normal use.

I'd give them a call, they are very helpful. A lot of guys racing at the local level have changed over to the type 2 pump because of better availability. I switched to a v-belt pulley on my factory pump with a V-8 conversion and couldn't detect any difference. Good luck!
