Can anyone recommend reputable performance machine shops in the So. Cal. area?

I'm close to L.B. and Team C is nearby, but some of the older shops I've dealt with are no longer around, like Service Center in Downey.

I'd be willing to go from SFV to Ontario to Costa Mesa.

Hi Max,
well I was looking for a place that could handle balancing a complete rotating assembly.

I have a '72 BBC 402 (402 std. bore) and need it magged and sonic checked. It's a 2 bolt main, but MAY decide to go for 4 bolt caps.

Originally, I was going to buy some World Merlin II oval port heads for it, but then thought about massaging the original heads and maybe going to 2.25" intakes and doing some porting myself. It might need to be bored, but the cylinders could clean up at .030.

It's already got a forged crank, so with some new H beam rods, it should be good to go. I'd like to get about 400+HP with about the same torque numbers below 5500 rpm.

I need to find a place with the right equipment that knows what they're doing.

I'll give them a call. They are on the outer fringes of my reasonable driving area, so I'm hoping for a few more tips to compare with.
