my uncle said he would sell me a 93' gt motor and install it for 1k is that a good deal?? the motor has 60k on it and he said it has alot of roller stuff on it.....he said he drove the car it was in and said it had at least 350 to 375 hp .....i have a 67' mustang coupe

As far as the sell and install for 1k I think is a good deal, but I think he got a little carried away on the horsepower figure, in stock form this engine made 205 horses @ 4200 RPM and 275 Ft/Lbs of torque @ 3000 RPM. Does this engine still have fuel injection on it? if so do you plan to keep it? a replumbing of the fuel lines will be called for if so, you car will also have to be rewired to use the computer control also.
