Greetings, seeking some advice from some Ford engine builders. I have a nice standard bore 1968 Ford 302 that I just acquired. I will be rebuilding it. My question is: Will the newer GT40P heads fit and take an older 4v carb intake with no other modifications? This will be a daily driver, mild cam, flat top piston build. I do not foresee any issues, has anyone else done this head swap with good results? Are the head bolts and valvetrain compatible, I know pushrods are different length from roller to flat tappet cam, any other issues?.
