I have a 1941 Mercury coupe street rod with drop axle, split wishbone and stock steering gear. Everything works fine except it steers hard. What other manual gear could I use that would make it steer easier?

Grease up the knuckles...

are you sure the front end is all greased up...not dried out...that will tighten up the streering if its dry.
