If you have so much blowby it needs a rebuild not a $20 PCV valve.

I installed an envalve on a 1989 Jeep Wrangler that had enough back pressure in the crank case it was blowing oil from just about every seal and grommet in the engine. It even blew out the dip stick when going down the interstate. The envalve fixed the problem. Plus the guy that runs the site "Emil" was very helpful in troble shooting my installation problem I had. Hope this helps.

mine as well, and to hawkiwg jeeps have a very common problem with the PCV valve and circuit not functioning properly and either sucking oil and drenching the air filter, or causing excess pressure, its important to change your pcv at about every 30k, its not one of those use it for life kind of deals...

The PCV problem with Jeeps is mostly with the 4.0L. It has a very small tube for PCV and really no valve -- just a baffle in the valve cover. The plastic tube gets clogges and causes a problem. Best to replace the tube and remove the valve cover to clean the baffle.
