The heads on my 383 stroker in my 37 Ford Wildrod do not appear to have any "humps" or other id markings on the ends. I really would rather not pull off the covers to look for numbers so I am wondering what went on with these heads? The ends of the heads are just smooth. They are iron heads. The engine is supposedly a crate engine from Mexico, block numbers indicate that. What do you think was done?

If your unwilling to do something as simple as pull a valve cover I'd guess you really aren't that curious ..

Or Sportsman II's, sometimes Dart will cast the DART name on the exhaust flange side of the head I think. But as mentioned w/o pulling the valvecover it's gonna be real hard to ID them.
