I installed the O2 sensor on the mustang tonight, however I'm more than a little concerned they the wire will be making contact with the exhaust. Have any of you used that DEI aluminum sleeve or is there something better to use. while the wire is small the plug is not if I were to use a sleeve it would have to be 1 1/4 just to clear the plug. But I'm open to suggestions

I'm going to try and route it away from everything. Where the muffler shop installed the bung isn't the greatest spot to begin with it's very tight in that area. I just didn't want it to rub or lay on the pipe while driving.

Header wrap is less expensive.
Wrap it around the wire, zip tie it in place. No need to cut the plug off.

There is line & wire sleeving that is fire resistant, seen it save a harness when an engine blew n had an oil fire.
