I have decided to join hotrodders.com to be able to talk to people all over the world about cars etc.
I currently am in possesion of a 1973 HQ Holden which was a very popular model in its day.
My whole desire at first was to build a "sleeper" I pulled out the 6 cyl 3.3 litre (or 202c.i.) engine and replaced with a worked 350 chev and turbo 700 transmission. that was a mistake as the 2nd hand t700 lasted only 2 weeks before blowing up.Now I have a t400 with a Mr. Gasket shifter. still has original interior( some restored) bench seat in front. standard in outside, whitewall tyres and lowered. It looks tame but puts out about 240 db at 7500 rpm. still no dyno test yet to determine power but a far cry from the original 6cyl engine.
