Just got my new piston's put on the rod's for my 350 sbc that im work'in on, and i stuck one in the block in the #1 cylinder so i could find true top dead center because it's easier to work with with just one piston in. The cam's been sitting in the block a while because when i had a set of dome's in there, i had it dialled in then and wanted to make sure all of the break-in lube was still on the cam, so i pulled it back out and dropped it on the floor and it broke in two.:smash: :spank:
The cam was the High Energy 268 cam and lifter kit, with matching spring's. All i have to purchace is the cam, so i was wonder'in if one of these other grind's would work better for my combo, the magnum 270, the EX262, the EX268 because they use the same lifter's and springs as does the H268. The combo is a .030 350 sbc. stock crank and rod's, KB flattop's with 2 valve relief's .010 in the hole, World S/R torquer's with 76cc chamber's milled .030, Edelbrock EPS intake @ #1405 carb, around 9.3:1 C/R, saginaw 3speed, 3.42 gear's. It's all go'in in my 76 GMC short bed the wiegh's around 4,000 lbs. (Please Advise)
