Ok, I finally got the pinion nut off. Big deal right?

Anyway, now I can't get the yoke off. It's basically just "stuck" on there. Been there since 1972. I tried hammering the pinion shaft inward to break it loose from the yoke. No luck. I don't want to damage it or the threads.

How about using a puller? That would probably work, but are there pullers for pulling yoke's? I've used lots of pullers but never seen one for a yoke.

any suggestions.

thanks.

2 jaw puller

try a 2 jaw puller. you can borrow them from autozone or advance auto. Youll probabally need to get one wit hlonger arms, Its not good to beat on the pinion too much.
