Has anyone had experience with this tool. I witnessed a demonstration at the Goodguys show and it appeared to actually work quite well. The guy cut some 3/8" steel and welded some sheet aluminum. The finished job looked very neat and clean. I would like to see some thicker materials welded and/or some steel.

I bought one of these at a swap meet for a song (I knew what it was: vendor didn't!) and have been using it as a complement to my MIG. It is a bit heavier than a regualr oxy-acet gun, but you get used to it. It works really well on fairly thin sheetmetal like auto body, although it'll cut up to 1/2 inch easliy. The reviews I've read say its just "different" you can do the same with a regular gas rig, but this is just a bit more convenient....for what its worth. I'm keeping mine.
