Hi, just a quick hello and, want to have an expert on this forum tell me if I need a fuel regulator on a Holley 650 cfm carb. It is a new plane jane 4 bbl carb that was jetted for 6000 feet cause I live in Denver. It is on a 1968 ford 429 cid in a 1952 ford f1. I would like to know what is the min and max lbs of pressure one of these carbs can handle before I need to place a regulator in the line? I am looking for an electiric fuel pump that I do not need a regulator for.

It depends on a lot, they can be used anywhere from 2 to about 10psi, stock holleys usually run best at 5 to 6 psi though.

Im using a holley red top fuel pump,no regulator required. you will need one if you use a blue top pump though!
