Hello all,
Any ideas on the best method to hook up my throttle cable. I did the usual searches and found the usual brackets on Summit and Jegs. They seem big and clumsy.

looking for some real experienced recommendations.

383 stroker, with AFR 195 heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM AIR gap intake, an AED built Holley 750 DPHP, in a 72 Nova with factory pedal, cable, and linkage.

I can't stand those big aluminum deals myself, too bulky and ugly.

Here is the factory bracket for Holley carb and your stock cable.
Simple, bolts on with the rear carb stud, tab on bracket fits the notch in the Holley baseplate made for it and prevents it from moving.

Here is a throttle cable bracket from Holley that works with GM cables and is a good bracket and not very bulky and bolts right up to the side of the carb.

I used this bracket below for over ten years on my old truck I used to own and it does not look like much but it does the job and I never had any problems with it and it worked out fine with my factory GM cable and transmission kickdown cable on my th350.

Nice! I want a clean look. Plus I no longer have the kickdown cable so I don’t need the bracket
