Made this louvre stamp inspired by an article I came across somewhere on the internet.
The test piece is 18 gauge / 1/20 inch / 1,25 mm steel.

Watch out? You're saying that like it's a bad thing....ha.....just sneaking a huge piece of machinery past the wife is the tough part. Mine was at work that day.

First did some testing.
Then, the hood.
Not perfect, I know. The stamping marks between the rows should have been carefully knocked down before the finishing work.

thats freaking awesome, did you use a press or just a BFH. i want to make one now....

i think that looks great. so the flat piece of stock is to align everything and then you whack it?

do you cut all the slots first or do you have to compensate for distortion from the die?
