Engine is stripped down, an aluminium block and alu heads too, gone in for some major head work.

What material results in the ultimate cylinder liners?

What material and coating/hardening results in perfect low wear seats for compatibility with steel valves with chrome moly stems?

Cast Iron is what seems to be the deal for good wear...

What about this Nikasil thing everyone keeps mentioning?

(Bear in mind I'm running a big stroke on a 75degree flatplane crank V8.... producing close to 950lb/ft torque...)
